A Standard visit lists ten kitchen lines, and none of them names the stovetop, the sink or the inside of the oven, fridge or cabinets. Deep adds the stovetop, the sink, the countertops, the appliance exteriors and the tops of the cabinets and fridge. The insides come from three add-ons, Clean Inside Oven ($35), Clean Inside Fridge ($35) and Clean Inside Cabinets ($30), or from a Move or Dream Home visit.
Your kitchen, job by job
Find the job you have, then read across. Deep inherits the Standard column, and Move inherits both, so a blank means that level adds no line of its own.
| Kitchen job | Standard | Deep adds | Add-on, or Move and Dream Home |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grease on the stovetop | No stovetop line | "Deeply Scrub & Disinfect Stovetop" | Move: "Deeply Scrub & Degrease Stovetop". Dream Home inherits it. |
| The sink | No kitchen sink line | "Deeply Scrub & Disinfect Inside / Outside Sink" | Wash Dishes, $25 and 15 minutes, "One sink full", if the sink is full of dishes |
| Counters | "Countertop Disinfected And Wiped Down" and "Dust & Clean Countertop" | "Deeply Scrub Countertop Surfaces" | Move: "Deep Scrub of Kitchen Countertops" |
| Fridge front | "Wipe Down Refrigerator Front" | "Wipe Down Major Appliances Exterior (2 Max)" | |
| Tops of the fridge and cabinets | "Wipe Down Refrigerator And Cabinet Tops (up to 9ft)" | ||
| Inside the fridge | Clean Inside Fridge, $35 and 25 minutes. Move: "Clean Inside of Refrigerator (must be clear)" | ||
| Inside the oven | Clean Inside Oven, $35 and 30 minutes, "Racks, glass, the works". Move: "Clean Interior & Exterior of Oven" | ||
| Inside the cabinets | Clean Inside Cabinets, $30 and 35 minutes, "Hand-wiped, inside + out". Move: "Clean Inside Cabinets (must be clear)" | ||
| Air fryer | Move: "Clean & Degrease Air fryers" | ||
| Vent cover | "Dust Kitchen Vent Covers (up to 9ft)" | ||
| Floor | "Floors Swept / Mopped / Vacuumed" |
No checklist line names cabinet fronts. The cabinet add-on's wording is "Hand-wiped, inside + out", so that add-on is the nearest line for sticky doors. The Standard kitchen does list "Clean Kitchen Shelves / Hangers", "Clean Window Sills / Ledges" and "Clean and Empty Trash Cans".
Which one to book for the kitchen you have
The kitchen is kept up and needs a reset. Standard covers the counters, the fridge front, the vent cover and the floor. If the stovetop is the one problem, Standard still has no line for it, so a stovetop with built-up grease is a reason to look at Deep.
The stove and sink are the problem. Deep is the first level that lists both, along with the deeper counter scrub and the appliance exteriors. It does not list the inside of the oven, the fridge or the cabinets, and it does not list the dishes.
One appliance is the problem. The three insides are add-ons on any tier. All three together come to $100 and 90 minutes (the oven, fridge and cabinets are $35 and 30 minutes, $35 and 25 minutes, and $30 and 35 minutes). Whether the oven is worth paying for or running its own self-clean is a separate decision in inside oven add-on or self-clean, and what "must be clear" means for the fridge and the cabinets is in the fridge guide and the cabinet guide.
Everything inside is the problem. Move lists the oven, the fridge, the cabinets, the air fryer and the degrease stovetop line together, and Dream Home inherits them. When that beats Deep plus add-ons on price is worked through in Dream Home or Deep plus add-ons, and the tier prices are line by line in the price breakdown.
What a visit leaves alone
A microwave, a dishwasher and a toaster do not appear on any of the four checklists. The only small appliance named anywhere is the air fryer, on the Move sheet. Dishes are not on a tier either: the Wash Dishes add-on is the one line, and its wording is "One sink full". Food in the fridge and the contents of the cabinets are yours to move, and the Move sheet lists the insides as "(must be clear)". A line that is not on the checklist is not a promise, so if the microwave is the thing you care about, say so when you book instead of assuming it is covered.
If you do the kitchen yourself, in this order
Our suggested order, top to bottom and dry before wet:
- Clear the counters and the sink. Dishes into the dishwasher or a drying rack, small appliances to one side.
- Dust the high spots dry. The vent cover, the tops of the cabinets and the top of the fridge.
- Wipe the fronts. Cabinet doors and appliance exteriors. If a finish is stainless steel or stone, read the maker's care sheet before you reach for a new product.
- Do the stovetop. Follow the stove's manual for what lifts off.
- Do the counters, then the sink.
- Floor last. Sweep, then mop.
For the same order across the whole house, see room-by-room cleaning order. The bathroom has its own version of this table in the bathroom deep cleaning checklist, and the full Standard, Deep, Move and Dream Home line counts are in what each tier adds.
What to clear first
The Move sheet writes its fridge and cabinet lines as "(must be clear)". If you book the fridge or cabinet add-on, clearing the shelves and cabinets first is our suggestion, not a stated add-on rule. The preparation guide has the rest of the list. The week around Thanksgiving has its own page in where the turkey grease goes.
Frequently asked questions
Does a Standard clean include the oven?
No Standard kitchen line names the oven. The inside of the oven is the Clean Inside Oven add-on, $35 and 30 minutes, or it comes with a Move or Dream Home visit.
Does a Deep clean go inside the fridge?
Deep lists the fridge exterior and the top of the fridge, not the inside. The inside is the Clean Inside Fridge add-on, $35 and 25 minutes, or part of a Move or Dream Home visit.
How long does the kitchen take?
No kitchen line on any checklist carries a time. The add-ons list their own minutes, shown in the table above. For hours by tier, see how long a house cleaning takes.
Pick the row that matches your kitchen, then start a booking for your Philadelphia home and add the oven, fridge or cabinets where they are the problem.
