You are booking a Philadelphia house cleaning and you want more than a Standard visit covers: the inside of the oven, the fridge, the cabinets, the windows. The booking page lets you stack those as add-ons, or pick Move-in / move-out or Dream Home, whose checklists already list several of them by name. This guide does the arithmetic, shows where each route costs less, and sets out what the lower-priced route asks of you.
Everything below comes from our booking catalog, checklists, add-on grid and visit estimates as of October 31, 2026, and the booking page shows the live total for your home. The sums are ours. We do not publish whether a tier line and an add-on of the same name are the same depth of work, so this guide takes no side on that.
The short answer
- The gaps: from Deep, Move-in / move-out adds $45 and Dream Home adds $95. They are the same on every home, because the bedroom, bathroom and size lines add the same dollars to every tier.
- Move-in / move-out: it costs less than Deep plus its five same-named add-ons once the ones you want total more than $45. Windows ($60) or the finished basement ($55) alone clear that, and any two of the five do. The oven ($35), fridge ($35) or cabinets ($30) alone do not.
- Dream Home: one laundry load and pet shed removal add $45 to Move-in / move-out, less than the $50 step to Dream Home. Dream Home includes two loads; the laundry add-on can be selected once.
- What it asks: a cleared fridge and cabinets, a visit estimate that starts later, and a description that reads "Empty home." Check all three before you choose on price.
The ladder for one example home
Our price breakdown prices a 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath home in the Spacious band. Its home lines are +$40, +$5 and +$30, which is $75 on every tier. That is the home used below.
| Tier | Base price | Example home | Step up |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard reset | $160 | $235 | - |
| Deep reset | $285 | $360 | +$125 |
| Move-in / move-out | $330 | $405 | +$45 |
| Dream Home | $380 | $455 | +$50 |
Tax, tips and the first-clean offer are separate and not counted here.
Which add-ons a tier already lists
The checklists nest: Deep keeps everything in Standard, Move keeps everything in Deep, and Dream Home keeps everything in Move, each with ten more lines. Several of those lines share a name with an add-on in the booking grid. The checklist guide lists every line.
| Add-on (price, minutes) | Listed in | Checklist wording |
|---|---|---|
| Clean Inside Oven ($35, 30 min) | Move-in / move-out | "Clean Interior & Exterior of Oven" |
| Clean Inside Fridge ($35, 25 min) | Move-in / move-out | "Clean Inside of Refrigerator (must be clear)" |
| Clean Inside Cabinets ($30, 35 min) | Move-in / move-out | "Clean Inside Cabinets (must be clear)" |
| Clean Interior Windows (6 Max) ($60, 35 min) | Move-in / move-out | "Clean Interior Windows (6 max)" |
| Clean Finished Basement (30-mins) ($55, 30 min) | Move-in / move-out | "Clean Finished Basement (30 mins)" |
| Laundry Wash & Dry (Per Load) ($20, 60 min) | Dream Home | "Laundry Wash & Dry (2 Loads)" |
| Pet Shed Removal ($25, 20 min) | Dream Home | "Pet Shed Removal" |
The five Move-in / move-out add-ons total $215 and 155 minutes. The laundry and pet add-ons total $45 and 80 minutes, counting one laundry load at $20. The grid sells one load; Dream Home lists two. Dream Home also lists "Professional Organization (30-mins)", while the grid sells "Organize Clothes Clutter (30-mins)" at $30. The names differ, so we do not treat them as one and leave both out of the sums.
Where the price crosses
Each row is a wish list. The first price column is Deep ($360) plus those add-ons; the other two are tier prices. A dash means the tier does not list a task on the wish list.
| What you want | Deep plus add-ons | Move-in / move-out | Dream Home |
|---|---|---|---|
| Oven only | $395 | $405 | $455 |
| Windows only | $420 | $405 | $455 |
| Oven and fridge | $430 | $405 | $455 |
| All five Move-in / move-out add-ons | $575 | $405 | $455 |
| Those five, one laundry load and pet shed removal | $620 | - | $455 |
The oven alone is $10 less as an add-on to Deep. Windows alone flip it, and the oven and fridge together flip it by $25. With all five, the tier is $170 below the add-ons, the comparison our price breakdown already runs. Dream Home is the only tier that lists every task in the last row. Move-in / move-out plus one laundry load and pet shed removal is $405 + $45 = $450, which is $5 below Dream Home. Laundry ($20) or pet hair ($25) alone also stay under the $50 step.
What the lower price asks
Three things come with the lower-priced route.
- Time. The booking page estimates Deep at 3-5 hrs, Move-in / move-out at 4-6 hrs and Dream Home at 5-7 hrs, and the grid shows minutes per add-on. The sums below are ours.
- A cleared fridge and cabinets. Both Move-in / move-out lines say "must be clear," and Dream Home inherits them. The published sheets do not say who empties; the guide to the fridge line covers the wording.
- An empty-home description. The booking page describes Move-in / move-out as "Empty home: inside cabinets, fridge, oven, drawers." The sheets we compared do not say whether it can be booked for a home you live in, so check the booking page before you plan around the lower total.
| Route | Published estimate | Add-on minutes | Our sum |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deep plus the five add-ons | 3-5 hrs | 155 min | 5 h 35 min to 7 h 35 min |
| Move-in / move-out | 4-6 hrs | none | 4-6 hrs |
| Deep plus the seven add-ons | 3-5 hrs | 235 min | 6 h 55 min to 8 h 55 min |
| Dream Home | 5-7 hrs | none | 5-7 hrs |
The add-on minutes are larger than the gaps between tier estimates: an hour from Deep to Move-in / move-out against 155 minutes of add-ons, and two hours from Deep to Dream Home against 235. Either the tier line is lighter work than the add-on of the same name, or the ranges are loose. The sheets do not say which, and the homepage FAQ adds "depending on your home's size and state." The visit-length guide covers what moves the estimate. If the depth of one line matters, such as the oven, ask before you book.
Move-in / move-out also lists five lines that are not add-ons, which come with the $45: "Clean Interior Doors (6 max)", "Spot-Clean Baseboards (30-Mins)", "Deep Scrub of Kitchen Countertops", "Clean & Degrease Air fryers" and "Deeply Scrub & Degrease Stovetop".
Before you book: do the sum
This is our planning, not a Hometress rule, and it is built only from the figures above.
- Write the wish list. Mark each task as listed in a tier, sold as an add-on, or neither.
- Total the add-ons you would stack. Compare the total with $45 for Move-in / move-out and $95 for Dream Home.
- Add the minutes. Check the sum against what your day allows.
- Decide who clears the fridge and cabinets before you choose Move-in / move-out or Dream Home.
- Put the rest in the arrival notes. The booking asks "Anything your cleaner should know on arrival?"
Two made-up households
Both households are invented to show the arithmetic, built only from the figures above. Neither is a customer.
Maya and Dev, the example home, want a Deep visit and the oven. Deep plus the oven is $360 + $35 = $395. Move-in / move-out is $405 and brings a clearing rule for a fridge and cabinets they did not ask about. They stack the add-on.
Priya and Tom, the example home, want the five add-ons, one laundry load and pet hair. Deep plus all seven is $620 and 6 h 55 min to 8 h 55 min by our sum. Dream Home is $455, listed at 5-7 hrs, and includes two laundry loads. Move plus laundry and pet is $450. They compare the $5 step with the extra laundry inclusion and decide who clears the fridge and cabinets, though the sheets do not say the work matches line for line.
Where to go next
For every line of the receipt, see the price breakdown. For the oven, read the oven add-on against your own self-clean. With your wish list ready, start a booking and compare the totals on the page.
Frequently asked questions
Does Dream Home cost less than Deep plus add-ons?
It is $95 above Deep for every home. If the add-ons you want total more than $95 and Dream Home lists them, the tier costs less. Move-in / move-out is lower still when its five add-ons cover your list. Even with one laundry load and pet shed removal added, Move totals $450, or $5 below Dream Home, whose checklist includes two loads.
Are the add-ons and the tier lines the same work?
They share names, not definitions. The tier has "Clean Inside Cabinets (must be clear)", the add-on carries 35 minutes, and neither says the two are the same depth. Ask before you book if it matters.
